Mark Twain wrote an autobiography … and instructed that it not be published until 100 years after his death! Twain wanted to be able to say whatever he wanted and pull no punches.

Mark Twain, of course, is the author of some of America’s most beloved literary characters and books, such as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. He is also one of the most quotable curmudgeons ever! In 1909, Thomas Edison captured the great American author on film:
