T-Shirt of the Day Award for Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday

12 Feb

President Abraham Lincoln’s official birthday is celebrated on President’s Day, the third Monday in February, but his actual birthday is February 12.

Abraham Lincoln was famously born in a one-room log cabin in Kentucky. He was a lawyer and became the 16th President of the United States, leading the Union states to victory over the Confederacy and freeing the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation. He was, of course, shot in the head and killed by John Wilkes Booth as he watched a play in Ford’s Theater on April 15, 1865.

T-Shirt of the Day Award for the Birthday of the Republican GOP Elephant

PS: We’re not partisan at LOL Teez … this is just the first time an appropriate occasion has arisen for showing anything political! We’ll show donkey t-shirts too, if we can find the birthday for that one.
