T-shirt of the Day Award for National Egg Day!

Happy Egg Day! Now BEAT IT! Just kidding … but it does make a cute shirt:

National Egg Day … there’s not a lot of info out there. I found one site claiming that Roman Emperor Claudius (ruled 41-54 A.D.) declared a National Egg Day that persisted for 500 years, was abandoned, and was later revived by Napoleon as Oeuf Journée Nationale (National Egg Day), but I couldn’t find any citations or other references to it … so I don’t know how reliable that is.

I do know this is reliable, however! How to Make Perfect Scrambled Eggs – WITHOUT a Nonstick Pan! What a great way to celebrate National Egg Day: learn something new and better about eggs, and improve your health in the meanwhile.
